Stonehouse Retreat

A website for an imagined mountain guesthouse, designed to answer guests' questions before they need to ask.

What's included

  • Site audit

What stops search engines from understanding your site.

  • Technical SEO

Speed, structure and the details search engines read.

  • Content & keywords

Pages written around what people actually search for.

  • Local search

Your business profile and listings, consistent everywhere.

  • AI answers

Clear, structured information AI assistants can find and quote.

  • Plain reports

What changed and what’s next, without the jargon.

How we work

  1. Audit

We look at your site, your listings and how people search for you.

  2. Fix

The technical problems first — they hold everything else back.

  3. Write

Pages and answers built around real questions.

  4. Measure

We track what changed and decide the next steps together.

Good questions

How long until I see results?

Search is gradual — usually weeks to months. We never promise rankings, but we show you what changed.

What is AI search visibility?

More people ask AI assistants for recommendations. We make your information clear, consistent and easy for them to find.

Do I need a new website?

Not usually. Many fixes work on the site you have — we’ll tell you if a rebuild makes more sense.

Stonehouse Retreat

We imagined a small guesthouse in an old stone building whose owners spent hours each week answering the same questions by phone — rooms, directions, meals and availability.

Concept study. Stonehouse Retreat is a fictional guesthouse created by Z Matchbox to demonstrate a website approach — it is not a client project.

  1. Answer the real questions first

Rooms, prices from, directions and what is included sit in the first two screens. Atmosphere comes next, not instead.

  2. Slow photography, fast pages

Large, calm interior photographs are delivered in modern formats and sizes for each screen, so the site feels unhurried without loading slowly.

  3. Clear information for search and AI assistants

Rooms, amenities, location and contact details are written in plain language and described with structured data, so they can be understood and quoted accurately.

What it shows

  • Content structure driven by real customer questions
  • Responsive design with performance-minded image handling
  • Search-ready structure and structured data planning
